What comes with moving to a new country?

We invite you to a short, free psychoeducational workshop on migrant grief — an experience of loss that often accompanies moving to a new country. The meeting combines psychoeducation with an interactive workshop component.

What will we do?

The idea behind the meeting is to provide a snippet of information on what’s called migrants’ grief and maybe shed some light on experiences, struggles that you might be going through.

We hope that taking part in this meeting will help you look with greater gentleness at your own process of finding your way in a new place and everyday life.

The meetings are held in English. You do not need to speak the language “perfectly.” It is enough that you can understand others and say what you are going through or feeling.

Places are limited.
Register via the registration form. We’re waiting for you!

Participation is free. The meeting is organised as part of the Inkubator Pomysłów (Incubator of Ideas), funded by the European Funds for Social Development programme.

Important

  • The meeting takes place in a venue with limited accessibility (first floor, no lift).
  • The meeting is psychoeducational in nature (this is not therapy). If you are in acute crisis and need immediate help, please seek professional support.
The meeting will be facilitated by:

Erica Kim

Sometimes relief comes simply from understanding what is happening to us ♥
