Psychoeducational meeting on grief & bereavement
The Ukrainian House Foundation and Grief House Warsaw invite you to a psychoeducational meeting for women посвящённую the topic of loss and grief.
The meeting will include both a psychoeducational part and a workshop part. It will be a calm and supportive conversation about what grief is, how it may show up in emotions, the body, relationships, and everyday life, and also why after a loss we often feel different than we expected we would.
We will talk about what is natural in the grieving process, what may be helpful, and what usually does not bring relief. We will also pay attention to how the experience of loss may intertwine with migration, changing countries, loneliness, overwhelm, and living between two worlds. This meeting does not require you to tell your story in detail. It will be suitable for women who want to better understand themselves, their reactions, and find a little more relief and support.
The meeting will be held in Ukrainian. Registration for the event is coordinated by the Ukrainian Women’s Club.
Admission is free of charge. The meeting is organised as part of the Inkubator Pomysłów programme, funded by the European Funds for Social Development.
Important: this is not therapy or crisis intervention. It is a psychoeducational meeting that may help you better understand the grieving process and your own needs.
The meeting will be facilitated by:
Izabela Jachnicka and Mariia Zavialova
Sometimes relief begins with simply understanding what is happening to us ♥
